The ICY BOX IB-NAS903 is a quiet, versatile HDD enclosure. Connected to the port of a Wi-Fi router it serves any PC in the network with data from its HDD (1.5Tb/1500Gb). It comes with six servers to manage content in the network, including the facility to be a print server. Samba allows up to 16 users in the network. FTP is responsible for remote access via the Internet and the UP’n’P AV server enables an ICY BOX media player, an Xbox, PS3, a webradio such as the Noxon to stream pictures, music or videos from the HDD. Finally the DHCP server assigns an IP address for the NAS903 – if necessary.
This enclosure offers both USB 2.0 and USB Host connectivity. The NAS903 also provides Host Link connection via Ethernet.
